No longer a cook....

Hey there funseekers,
all is well with the brood!! I am especially excited because as you have read above, I'm no longer a cook.....I keep saying that because it sounds sooooo good! I start training for my new trade on the 23 of July.
Kids are all really doing well considering we have had weeks of rain!!! This weekend past we had 2 days of sunshine and we were all out enjoying that, swimming in the lake and sunbathing.
We have a badminton net set up in the yard and the kids and I enjoy having some pretty competitive matches.
Uncle Dave and Aunt Rena and here tomorrow, we are all looking forward to that, every time they visit we all have plenty of laughs :)
that is it for now funseekers, I'd like to wish my sister in law Christie a happy belated birthday with hugs from us all.

Long time no talk....

Hey there funseekers,
It has been way too long since I last chatted, let's see where do I start??? Megan has finished her first year of university and loved every second of it and to top it all off she had a GPA of 3.85.

The twins Zoe and Kirsten have graduated from junior high and are off to High school this fall, Kirsten with her "first" boyfriend in tow. Zoe has her eye on a few but nothing yet :) whicj is fine by me!!

Nicholas will be heading to junior high this fall, watch out girls!!! He is totally girl crazy but would never admit it to us!!!!

John and Kurtis are still in grade school and doing really well :)

Cheryl and I are hanging in there and still haven't been committed so that is a good thing lol.

I have my remuster and will be no longer a cook as of the 13 of July YAHOO!!!!!

till next time

finally an update....

Hey there funseekers,
I'm finally getting off my kiester and updating my blog...sorry to all I have no excuse just laziness :(
Here we go:

Meg has her dress for the prom and WOW is all I have to say, she looks gorgeous and sooooo grown up!!

All the girls are getting excited about going to South Africa, to visit with Kev Vickie and the kids that is coming up soon (too soon). I'm very nervous about it but I know that they will take good care of them.

The boys are excited about the school year ending and are looking forward to going to the beach and camping at PEI.

Cheryl is busy trying to herd the crew and keep every one from fighting hahaha. She is also doing lots of research on LLamas and chickens as we are dreaming of going to the country and having our own little piece of heaven.

I'm off again tomorrow sailing, this time we are going for two weeks and back again for 4 days and then off south for 6 weeks or so.

I have put in for a change off trades I'm hoping to get into a more mentally challenging job and one that is not so physical!!

anyway that is all for now
take care all
till next time
