Just as leaves fall and the weather cools, bringing back the beautiful fall, this also rings in the other joyful season "BACK TO SCHOOL". ( by the way this "season" is one of my favorite :)
Most parents don't like to admit that they breathe a sigh of relief as they hustle off to the local Wal-mart to pick up the brand new color coded duotangs and geometry sets and lunch bags adorned with the latest rapper or cartoon character.
I on the other hand love to hear my kids finally stop with thier favorite rap the "I'm Bored" which can be either sung, whined or yelled by one and all.
Now my ears are happily lisiting to the " Hurry up or we'll miss the bus" tune which can be done in similar styles as the "I'm Bored" rap, but with no ranting from this end :) ( that is unless they do miss the bus, then I start a rap of my own :)
Don't get me wrong I love my children dearly!!! But It is sure nice to have a little peace and quiet . The kids are happy to be back with thier old schoolmates and I'm very happy to be quietly sitting here with my coffee mate .
