Well, I have just about a week and a half before I get posted to a ship, its a three year posting, and I go where the ship goes, and from what I hear we will be doing lots of sailing. I'm not really looking forward to that but that's what I get for joining the navy haha. Oh well it will keep us in the maritimes for a long time I hope!!
It looks as though I'll be gone for most of October and November and coming home just before Christmas. At least I'll be home for Christmas lots of other people aren't that lucky!!!!
Now I'm already starting to worry about Cheryl having to take care of the brood by herself, I know she can handle it but what can I say I'm a worrier:(
There's no life like it eh. I should learn lots on this trip hopefully we get more than one day off in each port, cooks seem to get the short end of the stick for that.
It gets damn depressing watching all your shipmates head into port every day while you are still working. oh well gotta think positive ....Think of all the great places we may be visiting :)
