Hey all,
I'm finally home,brrrrrr...it was a chilly trip. We had stops in NFLD, Labrador, Nuuk Greenland, Iquluit, Pond Inlet. The scenery was breathtaking to say the least but wow, its hard to believe that people actually live and thrive up there!!!
The Inuit people were fantastic they put on shows for us and wore traditional dress which was beautiful. I met and shook hands with our Prime Minister, and also crossed the Arctic Circle, it was a busy trip we had dignitaries, reporters and a bunch of soldiers aboard who at one point were as green as thier uniforms haha.
I'm soooo glad to be home!! I arrived home thursday morning and Friday we packed up (in our new camper) and took off to PEI for a fun weekend with the family, the weather was great and the kids had fun running on the beach and swimming for hours :).
It was a trip long overdue!! with my hectic sailing schedule its hard to plan trips so we jumped at the chance:)
anyway that's all for tonight I'll put some pictures on tomorrow for you all to take a peek at.
