Hey all,
Cheryl and I just got back from a great weekend camping, Meg and the girls were sitting the boys so we had the whole weekend just us!! It was sooo nice we rarely get just time with just the two of us alone I missed the kids like crazy but all parents need to recharge now ans then :) The weather here has been fantastic suny and warm all weekend. Kids are back to school and knock on wood they all are liking it so far .....sigh of relief :). Hi Christie hope things aren't tooo hectic back in Japan.
Wowo where did the summer go??? Winter is just around the corner I only have two trips left and the ship will be going into refit for around 6 months hopefully I'll get a shore posting for that time.
All is going well here, hope that its the same for you all!!

Hi Nat --
Things are settling down now that we've been back a full week. Kindergarten bazaar is finished, kids are back at school, we found a new sitter (always a stressful endeavor mid-year ...) and the raging typhoon passed us by without too much damage to our house or garden.
So what's this about a new camper? Is it a trailer or ...? How big? You'd have to get a Greyhound Bus to sleep the whole gang inside, wouldn't you?! We are hoping to get out camping a few more times this fall, weather and schedules permitting.
Anyway, will hopefully talk with you all sometime soon --
