Tall ships have arrived.....

Hey there,
Well its tall ships week in Halifax and the funny thing its as foggy as heck. I was working on our ship today and I couldn't see the foc'sle (the pointy end) and it was only three feet away hahaha.
Hopefully the fog burns off soon or the festival will be a bust.
All is well here, kids are back into their old routines of fighting , video games and work.
We haven't started our basement renovations yet, we are stalling , we know how much dirt and dust we will be creating and we want to hold off as long as we can hahaha.
The weather so far this summer leaves a lot to be desired it has been either foggy and rainy, cloudy and rainy or just plain rainy :).
I guess being in the maritimes that is to be expected hahaha. I love it anyway and wouldn't give it up for the world.
My friend Shelley is off to Afghanistan next month and I hope all goes well for her!!
Kev and Vicky have left for South Africa where they will be living for 3-4 years, I will miss them as well!!
I have no notices about sailing and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they leave me alone and I can actually enjoy a summer at home!!
Last year at this time I was in Puerto Rico and then Iqaluit.
anyhow till next time
take care all
Nat
