Medical First Responder....

Hi all,
I have been selected to take the " Medical First Responder" course. For all you non military types its advanced first aid, its quite an interesting course, I have learned quite a few really important new things for example I can now insert an OPA or NPA ( orapharangeal airway or a nasalpharangeal airway) the OPA is basically a plastic tube which keeps the airway open by keeping the tongue off the back of the throat and the NPA goes through the nose and creates an airway when the mouth is damaged. cool eh, actually scary as hell!!!!

All else is good here, Meg had a fantastic time in Germany, Zoe and Kirsten are playing poetry survivor in class and are enjoying that :)

The boys are happy about being able to get their bikes out this weekend (although as I write this its snowing :()

Cheryl is scrap booking in the kitchen, and really enjoying herself :)

till next time
take care all
Nat
